Mr. Jeffrey Montgomery Jr.
My name is Jeffrey Montgomery and I am 11 yrs old. I started tkd becuase my mom and sister were in it. My mom used to bring me to the taekwondo class and I would stay in the back. I stayed with it because it was fun and you get to learn self defense. Also you exercise because all of the moving running, punching breaking, ect.... My goal in taekwondo is to go as far as possible. I would advise people to join tkd because there is a lot of bad people out there and I would like to know how to defend myself against them. Also you get to know a lot more people because classes are usually big with alot of people. So come and join taekwondo!!!

Ms. Jessica Reigel
Start Date: February 28, 2005
I started tkd becuase some of my friends were in it and it sounded so fun. I like tkd because it gives me a chance to be free from all my school work and do a fun, year-round sport. It is nice to be able to do a art/sport with so many amazing people and have fun with it too.
My advice to other students is 1) It is important to remember all your old terminology and forms becuase you will always need them, they will never just go away through the ranks. 2) Don't be shy. Go to test and meet new people, go to tournaments and compete. It's better to go as a white belt just to get the experience, not to mention being able to bring home some new metals.
My goal in tkd is to stay in tkd for as long as I can and start my own school some day. I want to wish everybody in tkd good luck and wish you well in tkd.

Mrs. Isabel Montgomery
I joined taekwondo because of my daughter and my son. They are both black belts and I am very proud of them. Taekwondo is a perfect opportunity to bond with your family, meet new friends, learn to defend yourself, and keep fit. The benefits are endless if you put alot of effort into what you do in tkd. I enjoy being in tkd and so do my kids. I have been doing this for over 7 years now and I intend to go as far as I can in taekwondo.
My advice to everyone is to not give up. Perseverance is one of the tenets of tkd and by having perseverance, it will lead you far in taekwondo. I know there are ups and downs in everyday life and that also includes tkd. Just hang in there, stay focused and eventually it will pay off. Pilsung everyone!!!

Ms. Tempest Montgomery started her journey in Taekwondo when she was only 8 yrs old. Her dad made her join. At first she was very nervous and shy but after a while "I discovered that tkd was awesome and that it had become part of my daily routine. Without tkd I wouldn't be the person that I am today." Ms. Montgomery is now a second degree black belt at 14yrs old. She was also the first person Mr. Gibson took from white to black belt. Ms. Montgomery's advice to others looking for success would be; #1 Practice on your own time; #2 come to class on a regular schedule; #3 dont be afraid to go to tournaments. "It is a really good experience, its fun, and you meet new people." The future goals in TKD for her is to become a Master, to be in tkd for as long as she can, and to open her own school someday.
